Job summary

Colonial Poplin in Fremont, NH is seeking a Dietary Aide to support our dietary department serving residents of a Nursing Home and Assisted Living community. You will work with other Dietary Aids, Cooks and Managers to prepare and deliver meals.

Responsibilities include assembling diet trays, labeling food, delivering carts, maintaining cleanliness, and following procedures with a positive, team-oriented attitude. On-the-job training is available.

Qualifications

• Dietary aide experience preferred, but can train on the job (LTC preferred but not required)
• Must be able to deal tactfully with personnel, residents, family members, visitors, etc...
• Able to follow and understand procedures
• Positive attitude, patience and team mentality

Responsibilities

• Assist in assembling and checking diet trays before distribution.
• Label and date food properly.
• Deliver food carts and return finished meals to the dish room.
• Work in dish room and wash dishes with the dish machine.
• Prepare and deliver snacks to nursing units.
• Keep the kitchen clean, sweep and mop floors as instructed.
• Carry out garbage
