Job summary

Healthcare Services Group, Inc. is seeking a Dietary Aide to prepare and serve meals for residents in a long-term care facility. You will assist with food preparation, maintain kitchen cleanliness, and provide friendly service to residents and staff.

The position emphasizes teamwork, adherence to safety standards, and a positive attitude. A high school diploma is preferred; ServSafe/FOOD Handler certification may be required depending on local law. Training is provided.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous experience in food service or kitchen is preferred but not required.
• Current ServSafe or Food Handler certification may be required by state/county law.
• Residency within the service area is required.

Responsibilities

• Assist with food preparation, including chopping vegetables and preparing salads.
• Serve meals to residents according to dietary needs and portion sizes.
• Clean and sanitize kitchen equipment, utensils, and dining areas.
• Follow food safety and sanitation guidelines.
• Interact positively with residents, staff, and guests, providing excellent customer service.
• All other duties as assigned.
