Job summary

Generations Healthcare is seeking a Dietary Aide for our Bayberry Skilled Nursing and Healthcare Center. The role supports diet service operations, assists in meal preparation, serving, and tray setup, and works with the Dietitian/Director of Food Services to ensure quality resident meals.

Requirements include being 18+, HS diploma or GED, and English proficiency. The position involves weekend shifts and includes a background check, physical, and drug screening as part of hiring.

Qualifications

• Must be 18+ years old and have a HS diploma or GED.
• Must read, write, speak, and understand English.
• Ability to follow oral and written instructions.
• Ability to work tactfully with residents, staff and the public.
• Maintain sanitation, safety, and order in food service areas.
• Background check, pre-employment physical, and drug screening required.

Responsibilities

• Assist in food service under supervision of Dietitian/Director of Food Services.
• Follow established food procedures and policies.
• Assist in serving meals and setting up trays, carts and dining areas.
• Assist in cleaning duties per policies.
• Deliver food carts and trays to designated areas.
• Obtain food supplies for next meal and check diet trays before distribution.
