Job summary

Waynesburg Healthcare and Rehabilitation Center in Waynesburg, PA is seeking a dedicated Dietary Aide to support residents by assisting with meal preparation and service in our 111-bed skilled nursing facility.

You will maintain clean, safe food service areas, help with dietary records and inventory, and collaborate with the dietary team to ensure timely meal delivery while delivering compassionate, customer-focused service to residents and families.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Basic knowledge of food preparation and serving techniques.
• Ability to lift up to 25 pounds and stand for long periods.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the preparation and serving of meals to residents in our skilled nursing facility
• Maintain a clean and organized kitchen and dining area, adhering to all health and safety standards
• Assist with dietary record-keeping and inventory management
• Collaborate with the dietary team to ensure meal delivery and service is efficient and effective
• Provide exceptional customer service to our residents, families, and colleagues
