Job summary

Elevate Care in Chicago is hiring a compassionate Dietary Aide to join our team. You will assist with meal service, help ensure residents receive nutritious meals, and support the dietary team with food preparation and delivery to meet each resident's dietary needs.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in dietary or food service (preferred).
• Knowledge of food safety and sanitation guidelines.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to lift and carry supplies as needed.
• Compassionate, resident-focused approach.

Responsibilities

• Assist with meal service according to residents' dietary needs.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of food prep and dining areas.
• Support dietary team with food preparation, portioning, and delivery for timely meals.
• Assist with special diets (low-sodium, low-sugar, vegetarian).
• Stock and maintain supplies; manage inventory as needed.
• Work closely with residents to ensure satisfaction with meals.
