Job summary

Waterman Canyon Post Acute is seeking an experienced Dietary Aide to join our dietary services team in San Bernardino, CA. The role supports meal preparation, tray assembly, and timely delivery of meals to residents while adhering to dietary orders and safety standards.

The ideal candidate will have prior dietary, food service, or healthcare experience, strong communication skills, and a commitment to high-quality resident care. A Food Handler Card is preferred or can be obtained on hire.

Qualifications

• Previous dietary aide, food service, or healthcare experience required.
• Knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices preferred.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Food Handler Card preferred or ability to obtain upon hire.

Responsibilities

• Assist with meal preparation and tray assembly.
• Deliver meals and snacks to residents in a timely manner.
• Follow resident diet orders and special dietary restrictions.
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of the kitchen, dining areas, and equipment.
• Wash dishes, utensils, and food preparation items.
• Store food properly and adhere to food safety regulations.
• Assist with inventory and stocking supplies as needed.
• Provide courteous and respectful service to residents, families, and staff.
