Villa at Parkridge (2) in Michigan is seeking a friendly Dietary Aide to provide warm, compassionate dining support to residents and guests within a senior living environment. You will help set up dining areas, assist with meal service, and ensure cleanliness and safety in line with state guidelines.

The role requires good communication, reliability, and a willingness to follow directions from the dietary manager.

Qualifications

• Experience as a dietary aide or in a related food-service role.
• Knowledge of sanitation and safety guidelines for food handling.
• Strong communication and friendly customer service orientation.
• Able to stand and lift with good stamina as required.
• High school diploma or equivalent; food-service certification is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Set up dining areas with attention to cleanliness and order.
• Prepare meals under supervision of dietary staff.
• Deliver dishes and trays to rooms at designated times.
• Take down dining areas and collect dishes after meals.
• Stock ingredients and monitor inventory for meals.
• Assist with menu planning and keeping track of expenses.
• Help maintain kitchen equipment and appliances.
