Job summary

Yona is seeking a friendly Dietary Aide to support residents with warm hospitality and nutritious meals. You will work under supervision to set up dining areas, assist in meal prep, and ensure clean, safe service.

We value reliability, good communication, and a positive attitude. A high school diploma and background check are required; certification in food services is a plus. Benefits include medical/dental/vision, 401(k), and PTO.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a dietary aide in care settings.
• Knowledge of sanitation and safety guidelines.
• Friendly with good communication skills.
• High school diploma or equivalent; food services certification is a plus.
• Must provide a criminal background check.

Responsibilities

• Set up tables or dining areas with cleanliness and order.
• Prepare meals under supervision of a dietary manager or cook.
• Deliver dishes and trays at designated times and rooms.
• Take down dining areas and collect plates, glasses, etc.
• Discard leftovers and take out garbage.
• Clean food stations and wash dishes, cookware and silverware.
• Stock ingredients and monitor inventory.
• Assist in tracking expenses and menu planning.
• Maintain kitchen equipment and appliances.
