Qualifications

• Ability to perform basic arithmetic, understand measurements and follow written and oral instructions.
• No experience required. A willingness to learn is needed.
• Solid communication skills, attention to detail and multi-tasking skills.
• Demonstrated ability to anticipate resident needs.
• Ability to read, write and speak English sufficient to perform job duties and to interact with residents, vendors and team members.

Responsibilities

• Assist in preparing and serving meals to residents, setting up trays and serving regular meals and special requests.
• Deliver high level of customer service by distributing food according to dietary guidelines and menu orders.
• Ensure quality and temperature of food items, deliver and retrieve trays, and wash dishes.
• Maintain safety and sanitary conditions and comply with laws, company policies and procedures.
• Build relationships with residents, families, visitors and colleagues through friendly service.
