Job summary

Horizon Health in Paris, IL, a Critical Access rural health facility, is seeking a Food Service Aide to prepare and serve meals for residents, families, and guests. You will cook, bake, slice meats, and help with drinks, following menus and recipes while keeping areas clean and safe.

You will also assist memory care residents in common areas, perform duties assigned by the Residence Director, and participate in monthly education.

Qualifications

• Provides quality food preparation to residents, families and guests following designated menus and recipes.
• Assists memory care residents in common areas and supports overall meal service.
• Completes records and monthly education as required by department policies.

Responsibilities

• Prepare a variety of foods according to menus and recipes, maintain cleanliness of prep and dining areas.
• Assist memory care residents with needs in common areas and support safe, compassionate care.
• Perform other duties as assigned by Residence Director and ensure food safety standards.
