Qualifications

• Two years’ experience in dental hygiene, preferably in correctional/detention facilities.
• Unrestricted current Dental Hygiene license in the state of practice.
• Current BLS and ACLS certification through AHA.

Responsibilities

• Prepare treatment room and select materials for dental hygiene visits.
• Provide oral hygiene and postoperative instructions to patients.
• Maintain and sterilize dental instruments and document services.
• Ensure proper functioning of dental equipment through maintenance.
• Adhere to infection-control policies and protocols.
