Job summary

Empower Dental Group in Southern California is seeking a skilled Dental Assistant (DA) or Registered Dental Assistant (RDA) to join our growing team across seven practices. You will support the dentist during procedures, manage patient comfort, and help maintain a welcoming, efficient clinical environment.

The ideal candidate holds a California DA or RDA license, has at least three years of dental assisting experience, CPR/BLS certification, and proficiency with dental software and electronic

Qualifications

• Current California DA or RDA license required.
• Minimum 3 years of dental assisting experience.
• Current BLS/CPR certification required.
• Strong knowledge of dental procedures and chairside techniques.
• Excellent communication, teamwork and patient service skills.
• Proficiency in dental software and electronic charting systems.

Responsibilities

• Welcome patients to the treatment area and ensure comfort throughout procedures.
• Review treatment plans and answer patient questions.
• Take and record vital signs, medical histories, and dental charting.
• Assist the dentist during examinations, surgeries, and restorations.
• Prepare and organize instruments, materials, and equipment.
• Support front office tasks such as scheduling and charting as needed.
• Perform extended duties as permitted by California law for RDAEF if applicable.
