Job summary

Gardens Dental Care is seeking a Dental Assistant to support dentists, prepare exam rooms, sterilize instruments, and ensure equipment is ready for procedures.

The ideal candidate has empathy, patience, quick thinking, and 1–2 years of experience, plus strong communication with patients and staff.

We offer $24–$28 per hour, paid vacation and holidays, 401k with matching, health/dental/vision plans, life and disability insurance, flexible schedules, and FLSA status: non-exempt.

Qualifications

• 1-2 years of Dental Assisting experience preferred.
• Outstanding professionalism, high moral standards, and a self-motivated work ethic
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to build trusting relationships with your co-workers and patients
• Driven personality to strive to be the best in your profession and provide the best care for our patients

Responsibilities

• Preparing exam rooms, sterilizing instruments, and ensuring necessary equipment is ready for dentists
• Assisting dentists during procedures by handing them instruments and anticipating needs
• Taking and processing X-rays of patients
• Maintaining accurate patient records and assist with payment procedures
• Greeting patients as they arrive and scheduling appointments
• Advising patients on recommended oral hygiene
