Job summary

Ardent Dental - Hometown is seeking a Dental Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will have empathy, patience, good communication skills, and the ability to support dentists during procedures. Responsibilities include room prep, sterilization, taking X-rays, assisting with lab tasks, greeting patients, and maintaining records.

Qualifications

• 1-2 years of dental assisting experience preferred.
• Outstanding professionalism and a self-motivated work ethic.

Responsibilities

• Prepare exam rooms and sterilize instruments.
• Assist dentists during procedures by handing instruments and anticipating needs.
• Take and process X-rays of patients.
• Perform lab tasks as instructed.
• Greet patients and schedule appointments.
• Advise patients on recommended oral hygiene.
• Maintain accurate patient records and assist with payment procedures.
• Deliver strong oral hygiene and post-operative care instructions.
• Handle general administrative duties to maintain the dental practice.
