Baird & Baird Family Dentistry in Woodstock, GA is hiring a friendly, compassionate Dental Assistant for a full-time role. Join a patient-focused practice that emphasizes a welcoming environment and high-quality care.

You will support the dentist with exams and procedures, take X-rays, prepare operatories, maintain sterile conditions, and help educate patients. Monday through Thursday, 7:30 AM to 5:00 PM, with a competitive hourly rate based on experience.

Qualifications

• 2 years of chairside dental assisting preferred.
• Professional, friendly, compassionate.
• Dependable, organized and detail oriented.
• Team oriented with strong communication skills.
• Able to multitask while maintaining patient care and safety.

Responsibilities

• Assist the dentist with examinations, treatment and procedures.
• Prepare and break down operatories.
• Take X rays and digital impressions/scans as permitted.
• Assist with crowns, bridges, fillings, extractions and other procedures.
• Maintain sterilization, infection control and OSHA/HIPAA standards.
• Prepare patients and provide a comfortable positive experience.
• Maintain accurate patient records.
• Organize instruments, supplies and equipment and monitor inventory.
• Provide postoperative instructions as directed.
• Assist with patient education and other clinical duties as needed.
