Job summary

Access Services is hiring a Direct Support Professional for our Day Program in East Stroudsburg, PA. You will support adults with developmental disabilities to maintain independence and participate in life enrichment activities.

The role is full-time, weekdays 8:00AM-4:00PM at the East Stroudsburg program location. A valid driver’s license and reliable vehicle are required to travel between activities and community outings. Education: high school diploma or GED preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• One (1) year direct care experience preferred.
• Background checks, physical examination, and driving history record required.
• Valid US driver’s license for at least two years required, with reliable vehicle.

Responsibilities

• Implement Individual Support Plan (ISP) for participants.
• Record daily service notes and documentation as directed.
• Help ensure high quality care and meet participants' needs.
• Promote inclusion in the community through activities and experiences.
• Encourage independence in daily living, learning, and volunteering.
