The Arc of San Diego in El Cajon is seeking a Direct Support Professional to assist adults with disabilities in a day center setting. You’ll help clients build independence, participate in meaningful activities, and develop essential life skills in a supportive environment.

This full-time role offers Mon-Fri 8:30a-3p, with pay $20.00 to $20.65 per hour, plus benefits and ongoing training. A high school diploma or GED and at least 6 months of relevant experience are required, along with a valid

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• At least 6 months of experience with individuals with disabilities.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
• Valid California Driver’s License, current auto insurance, and a clean driving record.

Responsibilities

• Support clients in learning life, social and personal care skills.
• Assist with daily needs including feeding, toileting and mobility.
• Lead engaging group and individual activities.
• Document progress and maintain accurate case records.
