Responsibilities

• Prepare food in quantities according to the menu, recipe, and number of residents to be served.
• Comply with health, safety, and sanitation standards.
• Monitor and record temperatures in refrigerators and freezers.
• Inspect residents' dietary restrictions to ensure correct diets.
• Process diet changes as directed by Nursing Services.
• Ensure food and supplies for meals are readily available.
• Assist in inventorying and storing incoming food and supplies.
