Job summary

Bickford Senior Living is hiring a Cook to support the Kitchen Manager and prepare meals for residents in a restaurant-style dining setting called the “Bread Basket.”

The role includes responsibilities from following menus to maintaining cleanliness and coordinating with the Kitchen Manager for events. Full-time status offers a comprehensive benefits package with eligibility beginning after 30 days for some options.

Responsibilities

• Prepare meals following menus, processes and expectations.
• Serve food timely, at correct temperatures, and neatly plated.
• Ensure kitchen procedures are followed during meal service.
• Interact with residents in the Dining Room to enhance dining experience.
• Wash dishes, pots, and pans per dishwashing procedures.
• Follow the Kitchen Daily Task Guide.
• Use Meal Order Information to track diets, allergies, and preferences.
• Maintain food service records per regulatory requirements and policies.
• Store food per regulatory requirements and policies.
• Complete tasks from the Kitchen Rotational Cleaning Schedule.
• Maintain kitchen and dining room to meet cleanliness standards.
• Keep Bistro/Beverage Bar stocked with refreshments.
• Coordinate with Kitchen Manager for tours and events.
