The role involves collaborating with dining and caregiving teams to provide warm, appealing meals. You'll assist with inventory, receive deliveries, stock supplies, and interact positively with residents and staff.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Previous cook/food prep experience preferred.
• Follow recipes and dietary restrictions.
• Lift/carry up to 50 lbs; stand for extended periods.
• COVID-19 vaccination policy compliance.
• Current ServSafe or Food Handler certification (state/county).
• Residency within service area required.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook meals according to planned menus and recipes.
• Ensure food quality, taste, and presentation meet standards.
• Adhere to food safety and sanitation guidelines; maintain a clean kitchen.
• Assist with inventory management and ordering of supplies.
• Interact positively with residents, staff, and guests; provide excellent service.
• All other duties as assigned.
