Vista Prairie Communities is hiring a Cook at Garnette Gardens, Assisted Living and Memory Care in Minnesota. The role involves preparing meals per menus and dietary guidelines, maintaining safety and sanitation, and delivering friendly service to residents and staff.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Training in Culinary Arts and/or 1 year’s experience as a cook preferred.
• Demonstrated ability to read, write, and carry out directions required.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook meals according to established menus and dietary guidelines
• Ensure food is prepared and served in a safe, sanitary, and timely manner
• Follow all food safety and sanitation procedures in compliance with health regulations
• Assist in maintaining a clean and organized kitchen and dining area
• Provide friendly and attentive service to residents, employees, and guests
• Support residents by providing personal care and service during meal times as needed
• Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth kitchen operations and resident satisfaction
