Job summary

Nurseline Community Services, part of the Catalyst Care Group, seeks a Complex Physical Health Support Worker to deliver person-centered care at clients’ homes under RGN supervision. You will help people live safely, independently and with dignity.

Role emphasizes respiratory support, feeding support, continence and mobility care, infection control, and multidisciplinary team collaboration. A driving licence is essential for community work.

Qualifications

• 6 months of experience in healthcare settings, in community or home-based care.
• Experience supporting people with long-term or life-limiting conditions.
• Good understanding of personal care, mobility support and infection control practices.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work as part of multidisciplinary team.
• Driving Licence is essential for community work and transport of the people we support.

Responsibilities

• Provide personal and clinical care, including respiratory support (oxygen therapy, suctioning, tracheostomy care, CPAP/BiPAP).
• Deliver feeding support (NGT/PEG/gastronomy, pump feeding).
• Support with catheter and stoma care, toileting, continence needs.
• Promote safe mobility, skin integrity and pressure area care.
• 6 months of previous experience in healthcare settings, in community or home-based care supporting people with complex physical healthcare needs.
• Experience supporting people with long- term or life-limiting conditions.
• Good understanding of personal care, mobility support and infection control practices.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work as part of multidisciplinary team.
• Experience supporting people with eating disorders and complex physical health needs.
• Driving Licence is essential for community work and transport of the people we support.
