Job summary

Midwest Health Inc. is seeking a dedicated Housekeeper to maintain cleanliness across resident rooms, dining areas, hallways, and all common spaces within our community.

You will vacuum, mop, dust, sweep, and sanitize surfaces, follow infection control protocols, and work with a friendly team to support residents and staff.

This on-site role requires reliability, physical stamina, and the ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends as needed.

Qualifications

• Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand English.
• Regular worksite attendance and ability to work weekends/holidays when needed.
• Ability to perform physical job duties including lifting or carrying up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Comply with the Community’s policies and procedures.
• Report abuse/neglect immediately to supervisory staff.
• Treat residents, families, visitors, and staff with respect and dignity.
• Maintain confidentiality of resident information.
• Perform cleaning duties: vacuuming, mopping, dusting, polishing, and cleaning bathrooms and common areas.
• Move furniture to access cleaning areas and strip/wax floors as scheduled.
• Follow safety regulations including infection control and handling hazardous materials.
