Job summary

Thomson Health and Rehab seeks a dedicated Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) for day shifts. You will provide direct resident care under supervision, assist with personal care, and help promote a compassionate environment for residents.

Responsibilities include vital signs, meals, transfers, and reporting changes to the nursing team. A state CNA certification is required; sign-on bonus is available. Equal opportunity employer in Thomson, GA.

Qualifications

• Current Nursing Assistant Certification from state.
• Organized and detailed in work performance.
• Good communication skills, self-discipline and patience.
• Genuine caring for elderly and disabled residents.
• Adhere to Resident Rights and Facility Policies.
• Perform tasks within physical requirements.
• Perform essential duties as outlined above.

Responsibilities

• Provide personal care daily and as needed (grooming, bathing, dressing, oral care).
• Ambulate and transfer residents using appropriate devices and body mechanics.
• Record resident vital signs, weights, intake/output, and food consumption.
• Observe changes in condition and report to Charge Nurse.
• Prepare residents for meals and assist with feeding as needed.
• Maintain housekeeping standards in assigned duty areas.
• Maintain confidentiality of resident records and information.
• Attend in-service education programs to meet facility requirements.
