Job summary

Royal Megansett Nursing and Rehab– AuthentiCare Health Centers in Megansett, MA is seeking compassionate CNAs to join our skilled nursing team. You will provide hands-on daily living assistance to residents, support independence, and work closely with nurses to maintain quality of life in a long-term care setting.

The role includes vital sign checks, mobility assistance, and compassionate end-of-life support where appropriate.

Qualifications

• Current CNA certification in good standing.
• Knowledge of basic resident care practices and activities of daily living.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to follow care instructions, safety procedures, and infection control guidelines.
• Ability to observe and report changes in residents' conditions.
• Ability to accurately document care and maintain confidentiality.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and eating.
• Monitor and record vital signs as directed.
• Assist residents with mobility, positioning, lifting, and transfers using approved techniques and equipment.
• Observe residents' conditions and promptly report changes to the nursing staff.
• Provide compassionate support to residents receiving hospice or end-of-life care.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and comfortable environment for residents.
• Follow infection prevention and control procedures and facility safety protocols.
• Document care provided accurately and maintain resident confidentiality per HIPAA.
• Respond promptly to residents' needs and follow emergency procedures.
• Communicate effectively with residents, families, nurses, and healthcare team.
