Visiting Angels Abilene, TX is seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to provide compassionate in-home care to senior adults across the Big Country area, including Albany and surrounding communities. This role offers multiple shift options and opportunities for advanced training in dementia and Alzheimer's care to enhance skills.

CNA duties include assisting with mobility, personal care, meal support, and companionship, with reliable weekly pay and benefits as part of a dedicated local team.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Passion to serve others with compassion and care.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to manage time and prioritize tasks.

Responsibilities

• Help clients take prescribed medication as directed.
• Assist with ambulation and mobility around the home or outings.
• Support personal care and hygiene tasks.
• Assist with routine exercises and mobility activities.
• Plan and prepare meals with clients when possible.
• Shop for groceries or accompany clients to shops.
• Perform light housekeeping duties as needed.
• Provide a pleasant and supportive companionship.
• Report any unusual incidents promptly.
• Act quickly and responsibly in emergencies.
