Job summary

Avera Gettysburg Hospital in Gettysburg, SD is seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to provide direct, personal care to residents in the skilled nursing facility, assisting with activities of daily living and maintaining a safe, compassionate environment.

As part of a multidisciplinary team, you will take and record vital signs, assist with bathing and dressing, and support nursing staff to meet residents' needs.

Qualifications

• Certified Nurse Aide (CNA) licensure within 120 days.
• High School or GED equivalent preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provides assistance to residents with activities of daily living.
• Performs routine and non-routine nursing tasks as directed by nursing staff and assists with bathing, dressing, grooming, feeding, and mobility.
• Records vital signs (BP, pulse, temp, respiration, weight) accurately and documents care.
• Maintains clean, safe environment; restocks supplies and supports families and staff as needed.
