Job summary

arnothealth is seeking a Certified Nurses Aide to join the nursing team, providing quality resident care in line with policies and procedures. You will support ADLs, follow care plans, and maintain confidentiality. The role requires adherence to infection control and safety standards while delivering compassionate, dignified care.

Required NYSDOH Nurse Aide certification; Heartsaver certification preferred. Weekend, holiday, and varied shifts may be required to ensure high-quality care.

Qualifications

• Certified as a Nurse Aide with the New York State Department of Health.
• Current Heartsaver certification required.
• Nursing Assistant experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Actively participates as a team member with respect, dignity, accountability and professionalism toward residents, family and staff.
• Follows hierarchy and performs duties within standards of practice.
• Meets resident ADL needs including personal hygiene, oral/denture care, bathing, grooming and dressing.
