Job summary

United Church Homes is seeking a Nursing Assistant for Trinity Community at Beavercreek to provide compassionate care in a Dementia Care Unit. You will assist residents with daily activities, mobility, feeding, and documentation according to care plans.

Responsibilities include maintaining safety, proper infection control, and collaborating with nurses and staff. Prior CNA program completion and state certifications are required; experience in dementia care is a plus.

Qualifications

• High School Graduate or GED required or equivalent.
• Successful completion of state-approved Nursing Assistant program; must obtain and maintain required certifications.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with bathing, grooming, hygiene and daily activities.
• Assist with meals and feeding; ensure hydration and safety.
• Record care observations and communicate changes to supervisor.
• Participate in care conferences and follow individual care plans.
• Maintain cleanliness of resident units and equipment; proper infection control.
