Job summary

SLP Operations, LLC is seeking a Certified Nurse Aide (CNA) to provide direct resident care in a long-term care setting in Levelland, Texas. Under the supervision of a Licensed Nurse, you will assist with ADLs, transfers, feeding, and participate in activity programs, while maintaining compliance with safety and care plans.

The role emphasizes quality resident interaction, professional conduct, and adherence to regulations, with opportunities to support admissions, transfers, and discharge

Qualifications

• Must hold current state CNA certification in good standing.
• Ability to positively interact with residents, families, and regulatory agencies, and work with staff at all levels.
• Must maintain consistent attendance and be willing to work long or irregular hours, often under pressure.
• Must comply with local health regulations and complete a post-offer health assessment.
• Must perform essential functions with or without accommodation.
• English language proficiency (reading, writing, speaking).

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with activities of daily living (ADLs) including eating, bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and changing bed linens.
• Transfer and reposition residents safely to and from beds, chairs, and other areas.
• Support and participate in resident activity programs.
• Prepare residents for meals and snacks; assist with feeding and record intake.
• Follow daily care plans; report changes to charge nurse; document care.
• Adhere to safety/sanitation policies and report injuries or violations.
