Job summary

Qualifications

• Must be a licensed CNA.
• At least 6 months of CNA experience or clinical experience.
• Ability to read, write, and speak English.
• Ability to relate to ill, elderly, and disabled residents.
• Willingness to work harmoniously with staff.
• Demonstrate emotional stability and patience.
• Good general health.

Responsibilities

• Make resident rounds at the beginning of each shift and every two hours thereafter to administer quality nursing care.
• Verify resident identification before care or meals to ensure correct resident care.
• Make beds and clean bedside and overbed tables.
• Assure water pitchers are cleaned, filled with fresh water, and within resident reach.
• Report missing ID bands to admission coordinator immediately.
• Perform other related duties as directed by Charge Nurse, RN Supervisor, Director of Nurses, or Administrator.
