ALIYA of Highwood is seeking a compassionate Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to join our team in Highwood, Illinois. You will provide essential daily living support to residents, ensuring comfort, safety, and dignity under the guidance of our clinical team.

Qualifications

• Current Illinois Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification in good standing.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• CPR certification preferred or required per facility policy.
• Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to lift up to 100 pounds with assistance and assist with mobility.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with activities of daily living (bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, hygiene).
• Serve meals, assist with feeding, ensure hydration and nourishment.
• Aid mobility: transferring, ambulating, repositioning, ROM.
• Monitor and record vital signs, weights, intake/output, and other observations.
• Respond promptly to call lights to ensure comfort and safety.
• Report observed changes to licensed nurse promptly.
• Maintain accurate documentation of resident care.
• Uphold resident dignity, privacy, and HIPAA compliance.
• Keep resident areas clean, safe, and organized.
• Follow all policies, infection control standards, and participate in trainings.
