Job summary

Brooks Rehabilitation is seeking compassionate Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs) or Patient Care Techs (PCTs) to provide direct or indirect patient care under supervision of a nurse. This part-time role supports 12-hour shifts with rotating weekends at the Jacksonville facility, contributing to a Magnet-designated hospital known for nursing excellence.

You will assist with activities of daily living, monitor patients, document observations in EMR, and respond to call lights.

Qualifications

• CNAs or PCTs with direct patient care experience preferred.
• Strong attention to patient needs and comfort.
• Ability to document observations accurately in EMR per policy.

Responsibilities

• Assist patients with activities of daily living: bathing, dressing, meals.
• Maintain a safe, welcoming environment and respond to call lights promptly.
• Assist with admissions, transfers, and discharges as directed.
• Record vital signs and document care as required by hospital policy.
• Provide physical and emotional support and assist with dietary needs.
