Job summary

Brooks Rehabilitation is seeking compassionate CNAs or PCTs to support direct or indirect patient care under a nurse's supervision. This part-time, 12-hour shifts with rotating weekends role focuses on daily living activities, vital signs, and EMR documentation throughout patient care.

You will help with admissions, transfers, and discharges, respond to call lights, and ensure a safe, welcoming environment while providing physical and emotional support.

Qualifications

• Direct patient care including bathing, dressing and meals
• Ability to monitor and document observations and care
• Respond to patient call lights promptly and follow hospital policies

Responsibilities

• Assist with activities of daily living and ensure a safe, welcoming environment
• Document observations and care in the EMR as required
• Assist with admissions, transfers and discharges under nurse supervision
• Obtain vital signs (temperature, pulse, respirations, BP, SpO2) as directed
• Provide physical and emotional support to patients
• Support dietary and fluid needs and track intake/output
