Job summary

BAYADA Home Health Care is seeking a compassionate CNA/PCA/HHA to deliver personal care, household support, and companionship to clients at home. You will follow a nurse's plan of care and help adults maintain safety and independence in their daily lives.

We offer flexible schedules (full-time, part-time, per-diem, on-call) and a supportive team with training, 24/7 clinical support, and opportunities for advancement.

Qualifications

• Following a written plan of care by a registered nurse and providing personal care, household support, and companion care.
• Support adults to stay safe and independent at home with ADLs and mobility.
• Record-keeping and reporting as part of patient care.

Responsibilities

• Assist with bathing, grooming, toileting and nail care.
• Provide light housekeeping, laundry, bed making and meal preparation.
• Support with range-of-motion exercises and ambulation.
• Provide medication reminders and monitor vital signs.
• Assist with transfers and use of lifting devices as needed.
• Maintain a clean, safe home environment for clients.
