Job summary

BAYADA Home Health Care is seeking Direct Care Workers (HHA/DCW/PCA) to support clients at home with personal care and companionship. You’ll work one-on-one following a nurse’s plan of care and be part of a mission-driven, not-for-profit organization that values compassionate, reliable care.

We offer training, flexible schedules including full-time, part-time, per-diem, and on-call, weekly pay, and a supportive team with 24/7 clinical support.

Qualifications

• Prior home health care or patient care experience welcomed, but not required; training provided.
• A passion for caregiving and helping others.
• Commitment to being present and delivering quality care.
• Empathy, patience, kindness, and respect.

Responsibilities

• Provide personal care, household support, and companion care per nurse plan.
• Assist with activities of daily living: bathing, grooming, toileting.
• Prepare meals, assist with mobility and transfers.
• Remind about medications as directed.
• Travel to clients' homes as assigned.
