Job summary

Mary Washington Healthcare is seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to join our patient care team. Under RN supervision, you will provide direct patient care, perform routine ADLs, and assist with clerical duties to support department services.

The role requires a VA CNA license, high school diploma or GED, and BLS. CPI is required within 90 days for Snowden/Fredericksburg locations; willingness to work evenings, nights, and weekends is expected.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• CNA license issued by the Commonwealth of VA required.
• AHA BLS Provider CPR required at hire.
• CPI required within 90 days of hire for Snowden/Fredericksburg location.

Responsibilities

• Assists patients with activities of daily living (ADLs) like feeding, grooming, toileting, and mobility.
• Collects patient data and specimens and records vital signs and intake/output.
• Performs routine care procedures and supports the patient care team with documentation and clerical duties.
