Job summary

JML Care Center in Massachusetts-Falmouth seeks a certified Nurse Aide to assist nurses by delivering essential patient care, monitoring vital signs, and supporting daily activities. The role requires strong communication, teamwork, and adherence to confidentiality.

Responsibilities include feeding, bathing, hygiene, documentation, and coordinating with the nursing team to ensure patient comfort and safety within a 40-hour weekly schedule. This position reports to the Nursing Department.

Qualifications

• Massachusetts nurse’s aide certification is required.
• BLS for health care providers within 30 days of start date.
• Ability to provide age-appropriate care and communicate effectively.

Responsibilities

• Dresses, grooms, bathes, feeds, and records vital signs.
• Completes activities of daily living and documentation.
• Responds to call lights and assists in toileting, oral and nail care.
• Transfers patients, turns bedridden individuals, and reports changes.
• Maintains patient safety with oxygen therapy, IVs, catheters, and tubes.
• Ensures cleanliness of room, changes bed linens, and sanitizes equipment.
