Job summary

Alton Memorial Rehab & Therapy is seeking a compassionate CNA to support patient care in a long-term care setting. You will assist with daily living activities, monitor vitals, document accurately, and respond promptly to call lights under the supervision of a Charge Nurse.

Requirements include active Certified Nursing Assistant certification in the state, CPR certification, and the ability to lift and transfer patients. Regular status and positive team attitude are expected.

Qualifications

• Active Certified Nurse Assistant certification in the state you will be working.
• CPR certification, or willing to obtain within six months of employment.
• High school diploma preferred.
• Long-term care experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provides patient care related support per established guidelines.
• Documents appropriately into patient records and charts, including vitals.
• Answers call lights promptly and responds to resident needs.
• Turns and repositions residents every 2 hours; assists with mobility.
• Reports to Charge Nurse promptly and maintains supplies and equipment as needed.
