Job summary

Golfcrest Nursing and Rehabilitation is seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to provide high-quality patient care in long-term care, nursing home, and rehabilitation center settings. You will assist with patient comfort and transport, and respond to patient calls.

Ideal candidates will hold a valid CNA in good standing, have experience with geriatric patients, and complete required training and orientation.

Qualifications

• Must be a CNA in good standing in the state employed.
• Geriatric patient experience is a plus.
• Must complete a training and competency evaluation.
• Orientation required by policy.
• Health screening and TB test within two weeks.
• Mandatory drug test within 90 days of hire.
• Criminal background check required.
• Comply with local, state and federal regulations.
• Provide evidence of identity and eligibility within 3 days.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient comfort by using resources and materials.
• Transport patients.
• Answer patients' call lights and requests.
• Report observations to nursing supervisors.
• Complete forms, reports, logs and records.
