Cantex Continuing Care Network in Houston, TX is seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to provide direct patient care and support daily nursing activities in alignment with care plans. You will document observations, assist with routine tasks, and promote patient independence while working closely with the nursing team.

The role emphasizes safety, proper lifting and transfer techniques, and participation in ongoing training and quality initiatives.

Qualificações

• Current state Nursing Assistant certification is required.
• Ability to read, write, and speak English.
• Ability to lift, move, and transfer patients safely.

Responsabilidades

• Provide personal care services to assigned patients according to care plans and safety procedures.
• Document patient care activities and observations as required.
• Promote patient independence and quality of life when possible.
• Communicate patient status updates to supervising staff at shift start and end.
• Observe patient conditions and report relevant information to the supervisor.
• Maintain a safe, clean environment and follow safety procedures for lifting and transferring patients.
• Ensure care-related equipment and devices are clean and functional; report malfunctions.
• Participate in in-service education, certification maintenance, and training.
• Perform incidental housekeeping tasks to support a safe care environment.
