Job summary

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Ensure the well-being of patients and provide a supportive environment under supervision.
• Complete patient observation rounds, often every 15 minutes, within reach or 1:1 care.
• Assist with transferring, lifting, turning, and positioning patients.
• Obtain vital signs, height, and weight; document accurately in the medical record.
• Provide transport or coordinate transportation with staff as needed.
• Follow policies and procedures for patient care and maintain unit cleanliness.
• Communicate clearly with patients, families, and the health care team.
