Job summary

Dignity Health - Glendale Memorial Hospital and Health Center in Glendale, CA is seeking a compassionate CNA Patient Care Assistant (PCA) to support nurses and the patient care team. You will perform direct patient care tasks, monitor vital signs, assist with ADLs, document care, and ensure patient safety and comfort around the clock.

You will contribute to a healing environment by maintaining clean rooms, transporting patients and equipment, and promptly reporting changes in patient condition.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• California CNA license required.
• BLS certification required.

Responsibilities

• Vital signs, ambulation, ADLs and routine treatments under supervision.
• Report changes in patient condition to licensed nurse promptly.
• Document care measures according to policies and procedures.
• Assist in admissions, transfers, transports and discharges.
• Ensure safe handling of patient belongings and proper body mechanics.
• Utilize equipment following hospital policies for IV care.
