Job summary

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Successful completion of an unlicensed assistive personnel curriculum meeting minimum training standards.
• Past 3 years of documented experience as CNA/EMT/ER Tech or Surgical Tech.
• LPN program completed outside the US and awaiting licensure.
• Nursing student who completed fundamentals or equivalent course.
• Nursing licensure candidate who failed to pass state licensure exams in past 3 years.
• Certified as a nursing assistant per MO law (RSMo 198.082).
• BLS Certification is required.
• Previous hospital or nursing home experience preferred.
• Previous computer experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform direct patient care tasks as delegated by licensed nursing personnel.
• Provide basic patient care: bathing, hygiene, toileting, feeding, hydration.
• Assist with ambulation and positioning.
• Support patient safety and satisfaction through regular rounds and effective communication with the care team.
• Provide care appropriate to the age of the patient.
