Job summary

Encino Hospital Medical Center in the Los Angeles area is seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant in the MST department to support daily living activities, provide basic nursing care to non-critical patients, and help maintain a safe, clean environment under the supervision of the RN.

The role requires an active CNA license, BLS, knowledge of medical terminology, and a strong patient-first approach. Night shift, full-time, with competitive compensation and benefits package.

Qualifications

• Current CNA certificate upon hire, required.
• Current BLS upon hire and maintain current.
• Possesses knowledge of Medical Terminology.
• Minimum six months of previous experience in an acute care hospital or physician’s office preferred.
• Current Behavioral Violence Prevention (BVP) certificate within 6 months of hire and maintain current per facility requirement.

Responsibilities

• Assists with activities of daily living.
• Provides basic nursing care to non-critical patients.
