Job summary

BrightCare HomeCare LLC in Mandeville, LA is seeking a compassionate Caregiver (Certified Nursing Assistant) to provide in-home care for clients with disabilities, injuries, mobility challenges, or illnesses. You will assist with activities of daily living and support a safe, respectful home-care environment.

As a CNA, you will monitor vital signs, help with meals, and collaborate with the care team to implement individualized care plans.

Qualifications

• Current certification as a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) in the state of Louisiana.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Ability to lift, push, and pull up to 50 pounds, with or without accommodations.
• Reliable transportation and a valid driver's license (if applicable).

Responsibilities

• Providing daily living assistance with bathing, dressing, grooming and toileting.
• Assisting with meal preparation, feeding and hydration.
• Monitoring and reporting client vital signs, including blood pressure, pulse and oxygen saturation.
• Creating a safe and comforting environment and promoting independence and dignity.
• Collaborating with the care team to develop and implement individualized care plans.
