ExcelCare At Egg Harbor is seeking a compassionate and dependable Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to join our care team. You will provide hands-on care to residents, ensuring comfort, dignity, and safety in a long-term care setting. The role emphasizes patient-centered care and teamwork with nursing staff.

Responsibilities include assisting with ADLs, feeding, hygiene, documenting intake, and maintaining a safe living environment while upholding privacy and professional standards.

Qualifications

• Current CNA certification/license
• Experience in long-term care, skilled nursing, or healthcare setting preferred
• Compassionate, dependable, professional approach to resident care
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Ability to provide safe, respectful, patient-centered care

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with activities of daily living (ADLs) including meals, hydration, turning, repositioning and ambulation
• Provide personal hygiene and comfort care
• Assist residents with feeding and nutritional supplements
• Monitor residents and report changes or concerns to nursing staff
• Document food and fluid intake and care provided
• Maintain clean, safe, and comfortable resident living areas
• Transport residents throughout the facility as needed
• Support nurses and care team with resident needs
• Follow facility policies, professional standards, and state and federal regulations
• Protect resident privacy and maintain confidentiality
