Job summary

Sanford Health in Marshfield, WI is seeking a compassionate Nursing Assistant to join our inpatient team. You will provide patient-centered care and daily living assistance under RN/LPN supervision, helping the unit run smoothly.

The position is part-time with shifts that vary and a starting rate of $18.00 to $24.00 per hour. You will also record vital statistics and support with basic health care tasks as needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) preferred.
• If working in ND, must be on the ND Nurse Aide Registry upon training/validation or within four months.

Responsibilities

• Provide assistance with basic health care needs including bathing, grooming, toileting, and eating, while supporting emotional and spiritual needs.
• Record vital statistics, blood glucose levels, and other basic health information.
• Assist with patient transfers and ambulation.
• Perform clerical work related to scheduling and documenting patient healthcare.
• Prepare and clean patient treatment areas, living areas, and medical equipment.
• Dispose of biomedical waste in accordance with standards and policy.
