Job summary

Village Caregiving in West Virginia is seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to join our growing team. The right candidate will have a strong healthcare background and a commitment to compassionate, one-on-one client care in home settings.

You will assist with activities of daily living, mobility, meals, and personal hygiene while promoting safety and dignity. Weekend or night shifts may be required, with emphasis on reliable, respectful service to clients.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; CNA program completion preferred.
• Min. 1 year experience in healthcare, home care, or hospitality settings.
• Ability to lift/move up to 50 pounds and assist with mobility.
• Compassionate, patient-focused and reliable with a strong safety mindset.
• Willingness to work evenings, nights, or weekends as needed.

Responsibilities

• Provide personal hygiene assistance for elderly or post-surgery clients.
• Assist clients with medications and ambulation.
• Help with mobility around the home or outdoors.
• Plan and prepare meals.
• Assist with physical therapy exercises.
• Complete errands or accompany clients to appointments.
• Perform housekeeping duties.
• Report incidents and respond to emergencies.
• Support daily living activities, including mealtime tasks.
