Job summary

Amada Senior Care in Port Townsend is hiring compassionate CNAs and HCAs to join our team of dedicated caregivers. You will provide in-home care to clients, assist with daily living activities, and follow each client’s care plan.

We value reliability, excellent communication, and a genuine desire to improve our clients' quality of life. A valid CNA or HCA license and a driver’s license are required; one year of experience is preferred, and a background check will be conducted.

Qualifications

• Active State CNA or HCA license required.
• One year of caregiver experience preferred.
• Ability to lift, move or assist patients with proper body mechanics.
• Must have valid driver’s license and proof of auto insurance.
• Must pass a Washington state criminal background and fingerprint check.
• Ability to communicate effectively with seniors.
• Must be reliable and dependable.

Responsibilities

• Assisting with ADL's (Activities of Daily Living).
• Bathing, dressing, transferring, toileting, incontinence, feeding.
• Assisting with IADL's (Instrumental Activities of Daily Living).
• Shopping, housekeeping, medication management, meal preparation.
• Following each client's Care Plan.
